My oldest and only surviving aunty on my Mom’s side sent this to us on a family lockdown whatsapp group…

Barry Hilton is obviously all out of jokes now…

But I’m not.

Howzit my Chinas!

It’s time for another episode of Lockdown Love from yours truly, for Day 14 of South Africa’s coronavirus lockdown.

I’ve heeded some of the advice going around of taking time, in this forced time of of us all coming to a stop. And so, instead of placing myself under a lot of pressure (with a day job I’m doing from home, and with having just moved in to a new place where the garden and outside has been left to go backwards a bit, and with wanting to start a veggie patch…) and trying to get a daily playlist program going, (which ends up being entertaining and all, but is left feeling a little empty) I let this one stew an extra day and added in some spice.

Please let me know what you think…

Hmmm, I see what happened there.

I didn’t add any of the requests for this show into the actual playlist when I was making it, so when I exported it to CSV, of course they wouldn’t show.

So, for John Ginsburg we had Metallica and The Unforgiven off the infamous Black album, sandwiched between Shu-bi-dua (hahaha, I just caught the joke), and Rook (fantastic Australian band – another great one to check out is Cog). And for Richard Green we had some dudes and a magazine cover, another dude who thumbs his nose (and guitar) at lesser mortals who can’t play as good as him, even with their polyethylene enhancements, plus a saxophone player, and then Frankie Goes to Hollywood.
Which I appreciate.
Thank you Richard and John.

Till next time!
